Port Townsend School District No. 50 has proposed a three-year levy to raise $3 million per year for basic education programs and school support programs. This would replace the existing levy at the same level of $1.08 per $1,000 of assessed value, rising to $1.15 in 2022, costing the owner of a median $364,000 home $452 per year. Vote yes to ensure all Port Townsend students have the opportunity to learn and thrive!

Port Townsend School District No. 50 has also proposed a three-year levy to raise $1.2 million per year for capital projects. The district would use the funds to implement security upgrades and technology improvements, as well as expand school garden programs and implement disability access at Port Townsend High School. The estimated $0.42 property tax per $1,000 of assesed value would cost the owner of a median $364,000 home approximately $153 per year. Vote yes on Proposition 2 to ensure all Port Townsend students have safe and comfortable school facilities!
